Terms of use
Opening Soon Texas is a service of Piper James LLC ("we"). By starting a trial or subscribing you agree to these terms.
1. What you get
An email each weekday morning listing new business filings for the metro you chose, compiled from Texas public records. One subscription covers everyone inside your agency.
2. Use within your agency
The list is licensed for use within the subscribing agency. You may not resell it, republish it, or share it outside your agency.
3. Permitted use
Use the list to offer lawful business products and services. You are responsible for following every law that applies to how you contact people, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, federal and Texas Do Not Call rules, Texas Business and Commerce Code chapters 302 and 304, CAN-SPAM, and Texas Insurance Code marketing rules. Do not text, or place autodialed, prerecorded or AI-voice calls to, a mobile number without the consent the law requires.
4. Not a consumer report
The list is not a consumer report. Do not use it for any purpose covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, including decisions about any individual's eligibility for credit, insurance, employment or housing.
5. The data comes as is
Everything in the list comes from public records, which can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. A filing does not mean a business will open. A registered agent may not be an owner. We make no warranty about accuracy or completeness. Verify before relying on a listing.
6. Billing
The trial is free and ends on its own. A paid subscription renews monthly until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; it takes effect at the end of the month you have paid for, and we do not refund part of a month. The founding rate stays at the founding price for as long as your subscription for that metro remains active without a break; it ends if you cancel or if the service ends.
7. Limits
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. You agree to cover claims that arise from how you contact the businesses and people in the list.
8. Changes and ending the service
We may suspend an account that misuses the list. We may change these terms or end the service with 30 days' notice by email.
9. Removal
We may remove any record from the list at the request of the person or business named.
10. Law
Texas law governs these terms. Disputes are heard in Hays County, Texas.
